KidsCare Mont-sur-Lausanne, which has been operating in the region since 2013, offers family childcare for children from the age of 3 months until they start school. The daycare welcomes up to 88 children from Monday to Friday, from 7am to 6.30pm, in an international structure. Our daycare is open every day of the year, except on official Vaud public holidays and 2 weeks between Christmas and New Year.
From a very early age, a bilingual English-French team looks after the children's health and well-being, as well as opening them up to the world, in a space designed to ensure their comfort and safety.
A pedagogy that encourages children's autonomy and development (Pikler, baby sign language, Montessori, Youp 'la Bouge...) allows each child to develop at his or her own pace.
The play areas and our garden adjoining the daycare, as well as numerous excursions in and around the region, give children a taste of the joys of outdoor activities. Take a first look at our daycare from the comfort of your own home or come and meet us!

KidsCare daycare is located in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, on the outskirts of the city of Lausanne and the municipality of Epalinges, in the canton of Vaud. Ideally located on the outskirts of the city centre and close to public transport, our daycare is close to the international school and shops.

A dynamic team with a passion for early childhood cares for the health and well-being of young children in a setting designed to ensure their comfort and safety.
Working closely with families, they support the different stages of a child's development and respect the learning pace of each individual.

What pedagogical methods are used in the Mont-sur-Lausanne daycare?

Our educational system is based on several types of pedagogy, all founded on respect of the child and his or her development: baby sign language, Rikiko, Youp'la Bouge, carrying and Montessori.
This is also the case in our other childcare areas.
The youngest children are placed in a free-motion environment, where they can discover their environment in the daycare at their own pace and according to their desires. Free play allows them to develop their fine motor skills, as well as their 5 senses. Our choice of pedagogy is a key factor concerning the development during the first 1,000 days of childhood.
The learning process is not done as it would be for pupils at school, but through free play and free workshops.
This enables children to gain confidence, independence, social skills and creativity.
