Our commitment: a tree planted for every child enrolled🌱
At KidsCare, since the rebranding, the emphasis has been on eco-responsible values and sustainable education. Among other things, the OneTreePlanted initiative, has made its appearance. Since then, for every child enrolled, a tree has been planted through a donation to the association. We pay the corresponding amount to new registrants at regular intervals (1-2 times a year).
Why OneTreePlanted for our sustainable nurseries?
OneTreePlanted is a non-profit organisation founded in 2014, with a simple but powerful mission: to make reforestation accessible to everyone. Their model is clear - 1 dollar = 1 tree planted - and they are now working on projects all over the world, in North America, South America, Africa, Asia and even Europe.
Their aim is not just to plant trees: they also work to restore ecosystems, support biodiversity, and help local communities regain healthy, productive land. Their approach emphasises transparency, measurable impact and environmental awareness - values that are particularly important to us in the early years sector.
A partnership based on eco-responsible values
As part of our commitment to a greener future, we chose to work with OneTreePlanted because their values resonate deeply with our own: respect for the planet, sustainability and social responsibility.
In practical terms, for every contract signed with one of our partner nurseries, we commit to planting a tree via OneTreePlanted. This symbolic and concrete gesture enables us to link our day-to-day activity - welcoming and supporting children - to a project that protects their future.
To date, our commitment has led to the planting of more than 1,500 trees, making an active contribution to global reforestation. We're proud to know that every family who places their trust in us is contributing, through us, to a major environmental project.
